Dear Business Owner or Manager,

I wanted to share my experience with one of your service technicians, Demetri, who really surpassed my expectations. From the minute he arrived (on time after he called and confirmed our scheduled visit) he was polite, respectful and knowledgeable. We had an issue with our hot water heater not producing hot water. He gathered my brief summation of what happened and I showed him to our basement. He said he would inspect the system and let me know what he found. A short time later, he came to share with me that he thought we had a minor issue with the element likely needing to be cleaned and that he would clean it up and test it out. He didn’t suspect any major repairs needed. A few minutes later, Demetri asked me to come down the basement. As he inspected the rest of our hot water tank, he noticed that the power venting system was not installed and sealed properly and had come loose. We had carbon monoxide coming into our home every time the hot water tank went on. He was immediately concerned. I had suffered from unexplainable headaches and fatigue for months. Now I knew why.

I know Demetri claims he was just doing his job. However, there is no guarantee that any other service technician, or company, would have taken that extra few minutes to thoroughly inspect the rest of our hot water tank and discover the poorly installed aspects of our unit – leading to a dire situation. (The unit was installed by the previous homeowners prior to our moving in 5 years ago). I am eternally grateful for the thorough job that Demetri did during his visit. He quite possibly saved the lives of our young family, including children ages 5, 3 and 1.

Demetri then gave us our options to either install a new hot water tank, or that he would do his best to make our system safe for operation. The entire time he was in our home, Demetri was respectful, skilled, patient, efficient, and professional. I can only hope that all of your employees have these characteristics. You have a lifelong customer and I will always request Demetri to return to our home when we need service completed.

Thank you for employing such a wonderful young man. Although you may not think it, you have a very important job to do. He truly made a difference in our lives. I hope you give him the proper recognition that he deserves and feel free to share this letter with him. We are eternally grateful that you sent Demetri to our front door step on October 3, 2014.

PS – From the moment I called for service, I was impressed with the operations of your company. The woman (I believe her name was Debbie?) who initially gathered my information and scheduled the appointment was kind, understanding and professional.

I just wanted to take a second to tell you about the excellent service that I received from your employees and your company.

We had a new furnace installed today. My old furnace started malfunctioning on Sunday morning and the fire department was at my home at 4am because carbon monoxide had spilled into my basement. (Thank God I had a detector!)

I’m home alone with my two little girls, and the experience was frightening. My husband is out of town for several weeks and I had no idea who to call for help.

Luckily, your company was recommended to me by a past customer (Karnel Fechko from Medina) She assured me that your employees would be professional and courteous and not “rip me off”. I called, and Brian, the service tech, came out right away. Brian was very patient with all my questions, and after a very thorough examination, he explained we needed a new furnace. He showed me several “tests” to show that he wasn’t making it up.. and wanted me to understand that my old furnace was no longer functioning. I was so frazzled, and he was so helpful. He organized an appointment for me to get a new one installed today. He was very professional.

Dimitri and Joe Kucharski arrived today, right on schedule, after their morning phone call to give me a time. I appreciated their promptness. They got right to work and were so diligent and so careful about everything. They left no mess.. cleaned up much more than I expected, and spent a LOT of time here explaining how it worked… They were absolutely wonderful to have here and I am so thankful to get our heat back on.

I know that sometimes it’s a little nerve wracking to have “strangers” in your home all day – especially when, in my situation, I am a woman home alone with my husband away on business.. and they went above and beyond to make sure I understood everywhere they were going, and everything they were doing. They were both amazing.

It was a pleasure to work with your company, and I will be sure to tell all my friends that we had a great experience. Thank you for employing a great team!! And in the end, the furnace ended up costing much less than I anticipated!

I would like to say Sal's is not only a great A/C business, as serviceman Don was adjusting the thermostat, my husband fell and hit his head on the stair railing knocking him unconscious. Don's quick action helped me turn him over, noticing that he was bleeding from his forehead, Don held pressure to his head until the ambulance showed up. Which gave me time to call 911, put on some clothes, flagged down the ER vehicle and handle my granddaughter who was screaming. I don't know Don's last name but my husband and I would like to thank him personally.My husband is at home resting in a/c comfort May God bless you

Water Heater Challenge

We live in a mobile home, and when we found water leaking out of the bottom of the hot water heater, we called Sal's. After what was, to say the least, one of the most challenging hot water heater replacements ever I'm sure - we are so happy with the end result. The guys were great, very patient, and never lost their cool. And the work completed was top notch. Thank you!

After purchasing our new home, we contacted Sal's to have the furnace, air conditioning, humidifier and hot water tank serviced just as a precaution. We also had all three bathrooms replaced with new 'high-efficiancy' toilets. Not only was the 'PRICE' right, the technician was very thorough, knowledgable and took great care in protecting our flooring and he did a GREAT job. As a new homeowner we are extremely satisfied with Sal's and will definitely refer Sal's to my neighbors and friends.


Called Sal's Heating and Cooling during this freak week of 80+ degree weather and were ready to fix my air conditioner. It just would not stay cool. They came over and looked at my 25year old unit and did not high pressure me into purchasing a new one. I thought for sure that would happen. It didn't. I will call them again because of that and what a gem of a find. Thanks for the honest service call! Thanks for keeping my cool!


The need for a water heater was not expected and Sal worked with me to get the unit installed the day I called him and a payment plan that my budget could handle.
Just want to say Thank You to Sal's wonderful Company and all the employees I interacted with. Donna you were wonderful in all our conversations. You appreciated my situation and came up with options that were painless. The guys who installed my water heater were professional, efficient, and did a great job! They even asked for a mop to clean up the water! When they were done everything was neat and clean. I appreciated everyone of you and all your hard work.
